Here are some shots from a shoot for the January issue of Miami Living we shot today. The model is Davide Garruti, with Mega Models. I shot him a few weeks ago and loved what we got.

He's perfect for this story. I'm so glad he could do it. It's not easy to pull these looks off. He did an amazing job. These aren't retouched or final selects. I just wanted to post a few as people were asking to see them.

After 20 plus years of working, I can honestly say he is one of the most striking models I have ever shot.

I want to take it further and add more emotional content to the images. Brent is great in front of the camera. He has a very quiet, natural, emotional quality. I was lucky to shoot him.

I like how he comes across as vintage looking. It's interesting how he photographs so much like so many images typical of the 1920's. He reminds me of an old-time movie star. I shot these today at the end of our shoot day. He's very good in front of the camera.

Here are a few selects of a lighting test I shot for some swim brands. The model is Carley, from Elite. The suit is Jantzen. We were going for a vintage feel. She pulls it off very well.

I shot these this morning. I was so excited about them, I wanted to post a few right away. The model is Dylan Thomas with Next. He's great in front of the camera. I was lucky to shoot him. These aren't retouched, and it's not the whole shoot, but you can get a feel for it.

The styling was by Sylvia Linke. As you can see, she did an amazing job. The look of the images is mostly due to the styling, so I can't thank Sylvia enough.

Here's a shot we did today for the John Henry Fall 2011 advertising campaign. The model is Peter Argue from Wilhelmina. The stylist was Ron Laxamana with Ford Artists. Cecilia Zalazar did all the art direction. I'll post more shots shortly. This is just a quick look. The entire shoot went great.

Cubavera F11 photoshoot in Puerto Rico

Here's a quick look at two of the shots for the upcoming Cubavera F11 advertising campaign. We shot for 2 days in Puerto Rico. It was one of the hottest, most humid shoots I've ever been on in the 20 plus years of my career..and I live in S. Florida, so that's saying something! We shot at some amazing locations there.

The models were all great. They didn't complain one bit. I'll post additional shots at other locations soon.

The models are Adrian Cane with Mega Models, Webster, Carlos, and Vladimir with Unica models.

I shot this story at 1111 Lincoln Road, in Miami Beach. It's an event space and a parking garage...very cool idea. It's a great place to shoot. The story is for a November 2010 issue of Miami Living Magazine.

We shot this yesterday. It's a vintage swim story with actual swimsuits, dating as early as 1918. They were loaned courtesty of the Jantzen archive. This is just a quick look at some of the images.

I love these images. I am excited to get the final images selected and processed.

The model is Sahib, from Front Management in Miami. The location is Glass House studios in Miami.

New Personal Work

I'm trying to make more time this year for personal work. We were shooting a job at Haulover Beach in Miami, FL on Friday. When we were done shooting the job, I asked Rado to come by so I could shoot him at this great location. I've shot here before, but wasn't ever really happy with what I got. Even though I only had a half hour with him (he had to get to a casting) I am very happy this time.
